This house is 50+ years old in an older suburb of Canberra. The curtains and blinds were taken before the sale of the property, so the renovation started with ordering curtains, cutting down trees in the powerlines at the back, painting walls downstairs to get rid of the brown/green brickwork, and to make the kids area more inviting. The roof was repointed and painted. The electrical board upgraded, reverse cycle air conditioning units put in, along with new heat pumps for hot water (x2) to make the house more cost effective with a higher energy rating. All doors were painted, as well as colour used to foster joy within the house. The garden was redesigned with the focus on the vege garden and flowerbeds. More herbs and fruit trees were planted.
